A: The first step is to open the hood and take out the negative battery cable to access the ambient temperature sensor. After that, remove the grille and pull the ambient temperature sensor wire connector from the vehicle. Grab the retaining screw for the ambient temperature sensor and take out the sensor from the vehicle. Make sure the new ambient temperature sensor is in place and hold it down with the retaining screw. Now, put in the ambient temperature sensor connector, reinstall the grille and reconnect the negative battery cable.
