  A: Before going any further, it's important to disconnect and separate the battery negative lead. After that, unconnect connector 3 from the siren module's connector receptacle. Taking out the two screws 1 and then dragging the alarm siren module off the front extension of the right front wheel house panel. For this part, screw the alarm siren onto the front extension on the right front wheel house, using the two screws supplied, tightening them to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.). Reconnect cable connector 3 for the alarm siren module and put back the negative battery cable. Before the Vehicle Theft Security System can be used, a new alarm siren module must be configured by the Intrusion Transceiver Module (ITM) using a diagnostic scan tool.
