2007 Chrysler Pacifica Heater Core Parts and Q&A
Q: How Is the Heater Core Installed on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Place the heater core by making sure the tubes are unchanged on the heater core to avoid any coolant leaks or risks. Position the heater core (6) on the driver side of the air distribution housing (3), lining the tubes on the heater core (8) with the facing flange. Attach the heater core retaining bracket (4) to the air distribution housing with two screws (5) and tighten them to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Fit the plastic strap over the retainer on the heater core tubes (7), then connect the tubes to the housing at the front (7). After that, secure the flange to the housing with the foam seal (1). Connect the HVAC housing assembly and join the negative battery cable back to where it was. When you replace the heater core, flush the engine cooling system, fill it back up, empty out the refrigerant system, top up the refrigerant and adjust the A/C-heater controls.
