  A: To stop A/C system faults and compressor damage, the refrigerant oil level must be properly adjusted during A/C refrigerant maintenance. The A/C low pressure switch goes on the A/C accumulator, O-ring and hand tighten it and finally attach the wire harness connector to the switch. If your S8 has a 2.4L Turbo engine, fit the purge solenoid into its bracket and, when needed, install the vehicle speed control servo as well. Put the negative battery connector back, run the machine again to remove the refrigerant so it doesn't get into the atmosphere and add 30 milliliters (1 fluid ounce) of the right refrigerant oil, if you replaced the A/C accumulator, to avoid overfilling.
