How to Service a Blower Motor Resistor on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

The air bag-equipped vehicles must first have their air bag system disconnected by disabling the battery before servicing the blower motor resistor. If you've just turned off the blower motor, wait five minutes before checking the resistor, since it could be too hot. To start, open the glove box to get to the blower motor resistor. Pull the lock out of the connector to the blower motor resistor wire harness, then press the connector latch down. At the end, take out the two screws keeping the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing and pull out the resistor.
