How Is the Heater Core Installed in the HVAC Housing on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Be sure to place the foam insulator in the HVAC housing during the heater core installation. Put the heater core (1) into the top of the HVAC housing (4), then push the four tabs (3 and 6) that hold it in place. If found, put the two screws (2 and 5) into place to secure the heater core to the HVAC housing; fasten them firm at 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). If changing the heater core, always flush the cooling system first before installing the HVAC housing.
