How to remove an A/C Accumulator on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

You should start by disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable to make room to replace the A/C accumulator. Following this, take out the refrigerant from the entire refrigeration system. Get rid of the fridge's grille and also its left air seal. Open the bottom shutter of the front fascia and take out the bolt holding the A/C accumulator to the left side A/C condenser. Take off the A/C accumulator from the A/C condenser, get rid of the O-ring seals and replace them with new ones. Now, fit plugs into the open ends of the accumulator and put tape over the condenser ports.
