How to service a Blower Motor Resistor on 2009 Dodge Viper?

Turn off the air bag system by removing and isolating the air bag battery cable, then refrain from touching anything for two minutes until the system capacitor charges. Let the blower motor sit off for no less than five minutes so that the resistor can cool before you start. After that, get to the blower motor underneath the instrument panel and disconnect the wire harness connector from the resistor there. After that, get rid of the two screws that are securing the blower motor resistor to the bottom of the housing, then remove the resistor itself.
