Before you begin with the fuse block, first remove the negative battery terminal. After that, open up the left cowl trim cover and remove the three attaching screws. Once you're done, take out the electrical connectors and Junction Block 1. Also, when necessary, move components from one running system to another.

How to Service and Repair a Fuse Box on Dodge Ram 1500?

Before servicing or repairing the Power Distribution Center (PDC), take out the negative and positive battery cables first. Open the cover, remove the bolt on B+ terminal of the integrated power module and take the B+ cable off as well. Take out the gray connector from the integrated power module and then remove the retaining bolt and screw. Reach both hands around the integrated power module and move it off of the mounting bracket, before flipping it over so you can access the connectors beneath. Pull the connector arms outward by depressing the lock and rotating until they're free, making sure they are straight as you remove them. Take the integrated power module to a work surface and unscrew the four front control module clips, followed by pulling the module straight off the main board. To install, slide in the front control module onto the connectors on the power module and add the four screws, tightening them to 30 in. lbs. 5. It is easy to tell which connectors are which because they are color coded. Connect the electrical connectors by moving them along into place and turning them around until you hear an audible click which means they are fixed. Use two hands to grip the integrated power module and place it on the battery tray and then install the retaining bolt and screw. Attach the gray connector inside the integrated power module housing, fit the B+ terminal cable and nut onto the B+ terminal and place the cover before finishing the battery reconnection.
