The clearance between the muffler and resonator and the fuel tank should be 14 mm (or 0.55 in.) and the clearance on the rear tunnel reinforcement should fall between 15 - 20 mm (0.59 - 0.78 in.). Be sure the tailpipe goes right in the opening at the back and adjust the clearance if needed. After that, lower the vehicle, crank the engine and ensure all exhaust leaks are sealed by repairing them if they exist.
