How to Install a Washer Reservoir on Dodge Charger?

Stand reservoir 4 in the position intended for it in the vehicle and use mounting fasteners 1 which should be torqued to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs). Earlier adapter assembly bracket #2 is next to be installed and secured to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs). Actually connect connector 1, 3 and hose 2 to the reservoir. Set in place front fascia 4 afterward and also secure the negative battery cable and then fill up the reservoir.

How to Maintain and Fix a Washer Reservoir on Dodge Ram 1500?

Make sure the battery is unconnected by disconnecting the negative cable before you drain the engine cooling system. Then, remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator, take out the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer fluid level switch and disconnect the connector for the washer pump / motor unit. Disconnect the pressurized washer hose from the outlet found on the pump, so the fluids drain into a clean jug to be reused. As you pull the washer reservoir from the fan shroud, raise it up to take the mounting tabs off of the keyed slots in the fan and after that, remove the reservoir from inside the engine compartment. Position the washer reservoir into its place under the hood and slide the upper and lower mounting tabs into their correct slots in the radiator fan shroud during installation. After all the tabs are placed, push your hand down on the reservoir so the tabs fit into the keyways. Connect the hose to the barbed part of the pump nipple, then move on to the headlamp and dash wire ends for the pump/motor unit and the washer fluid switch. Attach the upper radiator hose to the radiator, refill the coolant and use up the fluid removed from the washer reservoir when removing the hose. At last, join back the battery negative cable.
