After you finish, pull the bumper away from the car and if your car's rear support brackets are still attached, pull them from the sill. If you remove the bumper support brackets, put them back on the rear sill and tighten them with 55 N.m (41 ft.lbs.) torque. Put the bumper in place and drill the bolts that link it to the right position, checking to see that they are tightened to 55 N.m (41 ft.lbs.) torque. After that, install the bumper end caps and, if there is a trailer hitch, set it up too.
