Jeep Wiper Pulse Module sends bursts of power that are timed to keep the windshield blades sweeping at the required time. Jeep is at home on rugged roads and across expansive skies and it provides drivers with durable frames and a pure rush. Since the early civilian prototype in 1945, the brand went to roughness, no-fuss operation and go-anywhere assurance. Jeep earns the confidence of drivers to use Selec-Terrain, which allows any person to turn a dial in order to fit the snow, sand or mud within a few seconds. Newer cabins overlay digital gauges, voice command, and over air adjustments on that traditional bare-knuckle soul and thus the community has remained wild but wired without adding unnecessary bulk. The manners on the road are good, but that chassis takes rocks and ruts in stride the whole day long without scene-making. Wiper Pulse Module coordination of the rapid electrical impulses and the motor torque as well as the scaling of voltage to weather load and eliminating freezing of the blade wipes through the intelligent spacing of wipes rather than hammering the motor with constant current during light drizzle or swirling dust. Installation of a new Wiper Pulse Module with plugging a new harness into the factory connector immediately sharpens wipe reaction by eliminating lag between stalk flick and glass sweep and reducing power consumption. All Jeep are kept on course by a Wiper Pulse Module sending rhythmic clarity on either side with either sideways rain or blowing grit.

Jeep Wiper Pulse Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: What is a Wiper Pulse Module and How to Service It on Jeep Commander?
    A:
Service must start by turning off the negative cable on the battery when servicing the wiper control module. Lift out the two front wiper arms from the wiper pivots and remove the cowl plenum cover/grille panel that shields the front wiper module. Following this, take out the nut anchoring the inboard end of the bracket to the cowl plenum stud and then move on to loosen and remove the two normal screws securing the module bracket to the cowl plenum. Untie the wire harness from the front wiper connector and then remove the front wiper unit together from the cowl plenum. Slide the front wiper module into the cowl plenum as one piece and join the wire harness back to the front wiper motor connector. At the bracket end nearest the door, fit the mount over the stud in the cowl plenum, insert the nut and two screws loosely into the wiper module and tighten everything securely. In the same direction, tighten the two screws and the nut so they measure 6 N.m (55 in. lbs.) by means of a torque wrench. Install the cowl plenum cover/grille panel over the front wiper module, add back both front wiper arms to their pivots and lastly reattach the battery negative cable to finish up.
