The first step to servicing the Low Pressure Sensor/Switch is to disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Remove the wire harness connector from the low pressure cut-off switch next to the expansion valve on the suction line jumper. Then unscrew the switch from the fitting. Unscrew and get rid of the O-ring seal attached to the suction line jumper fitting. Lubricate a brand new O-ring seal with clean R-134a oil, then fit it to the suction line jumper fitting using only the designated special material O-rings and the recommended oil for the compressor. Set the suction line jumper fitting aside, connect the low pressure cut-off switch, rehook the wire harness connector to the switch and then reconnect the battery negative cable.
