How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch Control Assembly on 2001 Dodge Durango?

Before starting control assembly servicing or repairs, first remove the battery negative cable by disconnecting it. First, get rid of the cluster bezel from the dashboard and then remove the four screws keeping the heater-A/C control connected to the cluster. Take out the wire connector from the back of the heater-A/C control and pull the control off the instrument panel. To connect the wire harness, return it to the A/C control and position the control in the bezel, securing it with the four 2.2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) screws, provided. Put the cluster bezel back into the instrument panel and reattached the cable going from the battery to the negative terminal. Carry out the A/C cool down test using the DRB III in the end.
