  A: Before you can service the accumulator in the HVAC system, begin by letting go and isolating the negative cable of the battery and also get up the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the A/C low pressure switch and if needed, remove the A/C low pressure switch from the accumulator, throwing away the O-ring seal. Second, pull off the accumulator and bracket from the mounting studs on the dash panel, remove the nuts holding the refrigerant lines and separate the coolant hoses from the accumulator. Screw the accumulator retaining band screw to 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.), attach the A/C low pressure switch to the accumulator with its O-ring and connect the wiring to the switch.
