2005 Chrysler Pacifica A/C Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Recalibrate the A/C Switch After Replacing an Actuator Motor or Control Module on 2005 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Whenever an actuator motor or the A/C-heater control is changed, the control module must be recalibrated, as well as any rear HVAC controls that need to be done. Turn the ignition to the On setting first. If your car has the manual temperature control, press and hold the Power and Recirculation buttons together for five seconds. To use the ATC system, hit the Power and Recirculation buttons on your A/C-heater control and hold them for five seconds at a time. The calibration procedure will begin when the MTC A/C-heater control LEDs and Recirculation button LEDs or the ATC A/C-heater control Delay and Recirculation graphics, start flashing. It takes about one minute for the A/C-heater switch to settle lower and less than twenty seconds when using the remote controls. When the LEDs or graphics stop flashing, you have finished calibrating your VR headset. Further diagnosis is required if the LEDs or graphics go on flashing after the designated time when calibration is complete. Flashing will still happen even after you try turning the ignition switch OFF and ON again, until calibration is done or your car has been driven around 8 miles (13 kilometers).
