What Are A/C Compressor Cut-Out Switches and How Do They Function on 2005 Jeep Wrangler?

Before servicing the low pressure switch, unclip the negative cable from the battery and then disconnect it. After that, take the wire harness connector off the A/C low pressure switch and get rid of the switch from the fitting on the top of the accumulator. Get rid of the O-ring seal from the accumulator fitting. When preparing to install the new A/C low pressure switch, remove the colored cover plate from the accumulator fitting, lubricate a new O-ring with clean refrigerant oil and put it into the fitting using only the required special O-rings and the recommended oil for the R-134a air conditioning system on the compressor. After that, install the low pressure A/C switch onto the accumulator fitting, ensure it is hand-tight, attach the wire harness connector to the switch and reconnect the negative battery cable.
