  A: The first step is to cut off the air bag system by removing and separating the battery negative cable and afterward allow two minutes for the air bag system capacitor to discharge. First, unplug the wire harness from the connector, release the blower motor retainer by pushing on its locked tab and twist the motor counterclockwise to remove it. First, set the blower motor assembly in place, making sure the air doesn't leak and it won't come out, then screw it into the HVAC cabinet and spring the locks to lock it in. Make sure the wire harness is connected to the blower motor, connect the battery negative cable, test the blower motor at full speed and check for leaks around the blower edge; if air is coming out, take the blower motor out and put it back in.
