Slide the door latch toward the back of the car until it locks with the air filter door's opened stop, then pull the door straight down off the air filter opening. Push your fingers through the air filter opening, carefully enough to pull down and remove the filter from the housing. Make sure the particulate air filter with the label Airflow and the air flow indicator is placed towards the center of the vehicle. Get the filter properly inserted into the HVAC housing, so that its Airflow arrow points upward.
