2006 Chrysler Pacifica Blower Motor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain a Blower Motor in the Rear on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Before servicing the rear blower motor, first take off the center floor console and disconnect the negative battery cable. Take off the connectors from the rear blower motor power module and the rear mode door actuator on the wire harness and afterward remove the wire harness bracket from the console support bracket. After that, unscrew the eight screws and remove the two console support brackets from the base and duct assembly, as well as the four screws connecting the rear blower motor housing to the same assembly. Disconnect the motor from the blower housing and set it aside, then pull apart the rear blower motor wire harness connector from the power module. Yank out the eleven clips and three screws holding the housing parts in place and now gently split the housing apart. Remove the housing to take out the blower motor wire harness and grommet. The rear blower motor must be placed in the housing and both the blower motor wire harness and grommet have to be installed for installation. Attach the halves of the rear blower motor housing and hold them in place with eleven retaining clips and three screws tightened to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). Attach the wire harness connector from the rear blower motor to the rear blower motor power module and install the housing into the floor console by driving in the four screws, tightening them to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). Fasten the two brackets to the floor console base and tighten the eight screws to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). Fit the body wire harness bracket to the rear support bracket on the console, attach the body wire harness connectors to the rear blower motor and rear mode door actuator, reattach the negative battery cable, mount the front console center onto the floor and adjust the A/C-heater control.
