How to Service an HVAC Pressure Switch on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?

To service the HVAC pressure switch, first unhook and separate the negative battery cable from it. After that, disconnect the wire harness connector from the HVAC pressure switch on the liquid line. Pull the HVAC pressure switch out of the fitting on the liquid line and throw the O-ring away. During installation, use the right O-ring and use only the recommended refrigerant oil for the air conditioning compressor. Before fitting, rub a new rubber O-ring seal with clean refrigerant oil. Place the HVAC pressure switch into the liquid line so it is installed, hook the wire harness connector to the switch, and reattach the negative battery cable last.
