2007 Chrysler Pacifica Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Brake Master Cylinder on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: To mount the brake master cylinder, bring the brake fluid level switch onto its mounting hole on the left of the reservoir, then force the switch down into the reservoir until the retaining tab clicks onto the bottom of the container. Squeeze brake fluid on the reservoir mounting area, move the reservoir over the grommet seals in the master cylinder and push it down forcefully until it presses against both grommets. Insert and tighten the fluid reservoir screw to 5.5 Nm (48 in. lbs.). Connect the wiring harness connector to the brake level switch inside the brake fluid container and attach the negative battery cable to the battery post once the switch is connected. Your base brake system may need to be bled; test the system for proper working by taking a short drive.
