Then, get hold of the corners by your hands and pull them gently upwards to open the engine cover. After that, remove the connection from the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness. Then unscrew bolt 1 and remove the MAP sensor.
- Q: How to Maintain the MAP Sensor for Optimal Performance on Chrysler Town & Country?A:Disconnect the negative battery cable as the initial step for maintaining the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor. After that, detach the MAP sensor hose and remove the two screws that hold it in place. Afterward, take out the wire connector and unplug the sensor. Place the sensor, hold it in place and use screws to attach it. Secure plastic manifolds with 1.7 Nm (15 in. lbs.) and aluminum manifolds with 3.3 Nm (30 in. lbs.). After you have completed securing the sensor, attach the electrical connector and then put on the vacuum hose again. After that, connect the negative battery cable to its terminal.
