  A: You must start by opening the hood, unplugging the battery's negative cable, to fix the windshield washer pump motor on a vehicle with the steering wheel on the right. With a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) loosen and remove the wiper arm nut cap then the retaining nut. Lift the arm off its pivot from the over/centered position, using a rocking movement and next, remove both cowl covers at once as the left side overlaps the right. Take away the seal behind the rear of the car and the three pushes that hold the cover on the right side cowl. Then, come away with the three screws holding the reservoir, separate the connector for the pump and disconnect each washer hose. Pull the washer reservoir out of the cowl and pour the old fluid into a bucket below.
