2007 Jeep Commander A/C Accumulator Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair an A/C Accumulator on 2007 Jeep Commander?
A: First, detach the negative battery cable from its terminal and remove the refrigerant from the refrigerant system to service and repair the A/C accumulator. After that, uncover all the corners by removing the grille, air cleaner housing and air inlet tube. Take out the nut that holds the A/C liquid line to the A/C accumulator, disconnect the A/C line from the A/C accumulator and throw away the dual-plane seal. First, unscrew the nut holding the A/C accumulator to the A/C condenser and then remove the screw joined to the radiator and fan shroud. Take the A/C condenser attachment off of the A/C accumulator and dispose of the seal. After this, fit a plug into or tape over the A/C accumulator fitting and the condenser port.
