Start by lifting the vehicle, removing the tire and wheel and then taking the brake drum off to work on the wheel cylinder. After lifting the adjuster lever, turn the star wheel on the adjuster screw until it is at its shortest distance. Take out the brake shoe return springs, adjustment spring and adjustment screw, then separate the upper ends of the brake shoes to allow room for the wheel cylinder links. Cut off the brake line from the wheel cylinder and pull out the small screws that hold the cylinder to the support plate. To install, spread a tiny amount of silicone sealer, evenly, on both sides of the support plate's wheel cylinder mounting area to keep road splash from entering the brake drum. Simple turn the brake line by hand into the cylinder inlet, without going tight yet. Fit the wheel cylinder on the support plate and drive in the cylinder screws until they are tight at 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). After that, tighten the brake line fitting with 13 Nm, install all the brake shoe pieces and adjust them on the drum using a brake gauge. Put in the brake drum, bleed the main brake system and replace the wheel and tire after that.
