Finish by linking the wire harness connector in the engine area to the siren receptacle and attaching the battery negative cable. Before the Vtss operates as it should, a diagnostic scan tool needs to be used to set up the new unit in the Itm, if you have changed the alarm siren module. For the Intrusion Transceiver Module/Itm menu item, set these steps in the diagnostic scan tool following the instructions for Miscellaneous Functions, select Initialize Siren.
