2008 Dodge Nitro Blower Motor Resistor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Blower Motor Resistor on 2008 Dodge Nitro?
A: Disable the air bag system by detaching the negative battery cable, then give the air bag system capacitor two minutes to deplete. Let the blower motor off for at least five minutes to give the resistor a chance to cool, since it can warm up a lot when operating. Before anything else, pull the door down on the glove box and then take out the connector from the blower motor resistor. With that done, remove the two screws holding the blower motor resistor and get rid of the resistor.
