How to Maintain a Power Steering Reservoir on Chrysler 300?

Before any work on the Power Steering Reservoir, you need to disconnect and disconnect the battery negative cable. Drain the power steering fluid out of the reservoir on the pump. After that, take out the air cleaner housing and the inlet tube to the throttle body. When that's done, take the hose clamp off and pull out the supply hose from the reservoir. Take out the hose clamp of the return hose attached to the reservoir. Release the reservoir by removing it from the inside of the guide so it is no longer attached to the coolant bottle.

How to Install a Power Steering Reservoir for a 3.3L/3.8L Engine on Chrysler Town & Country?

Bring the Power Steering Reservoir up to the engine and then position it as required. After that, fit the reservoir mounting bolts and nut and tighten the fasteners using 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) torque. Install the supply hose in the Power Steering Reservoir and be sure the clamp is in place near the bottom of the reservoir's connection before you insert the hose. For the return hose, put it into position and install the clamp onto the fitting past the bead, just as the first side. Right after installation, run the steering system and watch it carefully for any signs of leaks.
