Attach the remover to the sue hole of the inner tie rod. Even if the tie rod won't budge with the correct tools, keep away from using a hammer or heat, as the steering gear may become damaged and require a total replacement. After that, pull the inner tie rod out and take apart the travel restrictor in the rack gear.
