Before replacing the valve stem seal, first unscrew the valve spring (3) and then use a valve seal tool (1) to eliminate the valve stem seal.

How to Install a Valve Stem Seal on Chrysler Crossfire?

Before putting on the valve stem seal, repair or replace any stem that is nicked or burred on the valves. Rub a little clean engine oil over the surface of the new seal. Then, slide the protective sleeve over the valve stem and use the seal pliers to put the new seal onto the stem. Once you have gone past this label, take off the protective sleeve. After that, fit the valve spring seat, the valve spring and the valve spring retainer. Using the assembly tool, press the valve spring and put in the valve stem collets as you are compressing the spring. Once the valve spring is loosened, watch that the collets are in place in the valve spring retainer before sliding out the assembly tool. You need to service just one valve at a time and do it several times for all the valves that need checking. When valve work is done, push up Special Tool 9102 Flywheel Locking Tool and install both the starter and the camshafts.
