First, take out the lower control arm and secure it toward the end of the vehicle in a vise. Use heavy grease on the threads of the tools to make them last longer and operate smoothly during installation or removal. Attach the bushing remover tools 8836-2, 8836-4 and 8836-5 to the threaded rod 8839, as well as the bearing you will change. You need to use tool 8836-6 (driver), 8836-3 (spacer) and 8836-2 (receiver), along with threaded rod 8839 and the bearing for a new axle bush. While installing the big bushing, you will need tools 8836-2 (receiver), 8836-1 (driver), 8836-4 (spacer) and the threaded rod 8839, along with the bearing. During the small bushing installation, use the driver 8836-7, receiver 8836-2, spacer 8836-3 and the bearing with a threaded rod 8839. Once you're done, remove the arm from the vise, put the lower arm back on, reset the car height and wheel align the vehicle.
