Press the center bezel into the instrument panel. Attach the negative battery cable once again. Open the Actuator Calibration tool from a scan tool.

On vehicles with air bags, you should turn off the system by disconnecting and isolating the negative cable from the battery before waiting two minutes to discharge the air bag system capacitor. Removing the center bezel and US driver's side glove box is the first step. Pull open the glove box and take the A/C-heater control vacuum harness connector out of each part of the airflow control. With that, get the two screws out from the A/C-heater control and move it backward to see the connections in the back. Take out the control by disconnecting the three wire harness connectors from its back, located on the vehicle. For insertion, attach the three harness wires to the back of the unit, set it on the instrument panel, put in the retaining screws and tighten them to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). Through the glove box opening, connect the A/C-heater vacuum harness connector and place back the glove box and the center bezel. Once done, attach the negative cable of the battery.
