Before replacing the brake pads, be certain the caliper pistons are seated firmly in the bores. If needed, annulate the film on the brake pad double sticky isolator. Attach the rear dishes inside the disc brake caliper, checking that the beveled side of every pad faces upward. On the inboard side, push the upper end of the support pin through the holes in the caliper and the brake pads and drop the other end into the hole in the outboard half of the caliper. Mount the top part of the spring clip under the top brake pad support pin and push the other end against the brake rotor. Then, guide the lower brake pad support pin through the caliper and the holes on each brake pad so that its little end is in the caliper's outboard-half opening. Grip the spring clip and slide it off to work the lower support pin. Lock the retaining ring into the caliper by pushing the upper and lower support pins features into it with the pin punch and hammer. Make sure the assembled caliper shows the spring clip is in the middle, engaging the support pins with one side contacting each brake pad. Put on the tire and wheel group and fasten the wheel mounting nuts to 150 Nm or 110 ft. lbs. torque. Leave your vehicle on lower ground to lessen the impact from landing and pump your brakes several times to bring the pads against the rotor and caliper. Make sure the brake fluid level is proper in the reservoir. The first rapid braking following installation may result in less effective braking. Use sandpaper to polish the new brake pads against the rotor to get the best performance and take several stops on a test drive to remove foreign substances and have the brake pad linings settle in correctly.

Raise the car, hold it up with support jacks and take off the tire and wheel of the rear wheel. Press the caliper together and take out the caliper slide bolts. Don't let the brake hose be in contact with the caliper assembly. At the top, move the caliper outwards to get it to release from the caliper adapter. After that, pull the inboard brake shoe out of the caliper adapter, then take out the outboard brake shoe. Be aware that you can't swap anti-rattle springs; first remove the top anti-rattle spring from the caliper adapter, then take out the bottom one.
