Before installing the Brake Master Cylinder, completely bleed the master cylinder after removal. A vacuum seal should be put on the master cylinder when replacing the brake fluid. Put the new vacuum seal on the rear section of the master cylinder and make sure it is straight in the groove. Position the master cylinder over the studs, so that the booster push rod fits into the master cylinder piston. Place and tighten the two master cylinder mounting nuts to 15 Nm (133 in. lbs.). Place the primary and secondary brake tubes into the primary and secondary openings on the master cylinder, then tighten each one to 20 Nm (177 in. lbs.). Connect the wiring harness connector to the brake fluid level sensor which is placed in the brake fluid reservoir. Connect the cable marked "negative" from your battery charger to the battery post. Add only clean, fresh Mopar(R) Brake Fluid or an equivalent brake fluid into the master cylinder fluid reservoir. Insert the access panel inside the cowl of the airplane. Operation of the vehicle should not be attempted until the brake pedal is firm; if it is not, bleed the brake system and carefully inspect for leaks. Do a last road test to confirm the brakes are functioning as they should.

How to Remove and Replace a Brake Master Cylinder on Dodge Charger?

You need to take off the access panel in the cowl area first in order to see and remove the brake master cylinder. Wipe all surfaces in the brake fluid reservoir and master cylinder using Mopar(R) Brake Parts Cleaner or an equivalent cleaner. Take out the wiring harness connector from the brake fluid level sensor in the master cylinder brake fluid reservoir. Open the cover on the brake fluid reservoir and, with a clean syringe or similar instrument, drain as much brake fluid as you can. Don't use any tool to remove the fluid reservoir from the master cylinder, because this could damage either the reservoir or the housing. After that, remove the screw holding the fluid reservoir to the master cylinder housing. Pull up on the brake pedal as you shake the brake fluid reservoir from side to side, so as to remove it from its seal grommets in the master cylinder. Leave the reservoir doors open and then remove the seals covering the reservoir access openings on the master cylinder housing.
