How to replace a ball joint on Dodge Ramcharger?

Raise the front of the vehicle using a jack beneath the lower control arm, then remove the wheel. Next, take off the balljoint retaining nuts and use a balljoint separator to free the balljoint taper from the steering knuckle. Press out the balljoint with a sleeve arrangement or press, and then press in the new balljoint using a 2-inch socket to seat it. Finally, reverse the removal procedure for the remainder of the installation.
