To remove the A/C discharge hose/line, begin by unlinking and isolating the battery negative cable and after that, drain the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the high pressure transducer, take out the discharge line refrigerant line fitting from the condenser inlet tube and tape or plug all opened refrigerant line fittings. After that, remove the nut covering the accumulator outlet connection from the suction line fitting and then screw off and remove the tie that holds the suction and discharge line manifold to the compressor, putting back plugs or tape over all exposed refrigerant fittings. Take the suction and discharge line assembly off of the vehicle. For setting up the line manifold and compressor, remove all the tape or plugs from these parts, place the manifold onto the compressor using the existing screw holes and tighten the screw to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.). Push out the tape or plugs from the suction line and the accumulator outlet, fasten the suction line to the accumulator outlet and seal it with a fastener. Right away, remove any tape or plugs from the refrigerant lines at the discharge line and condenser inlet tube, then screw the discharge line refrigerant line coupler to the condenser inlet tube. Link the wire harness connector to the high pressure transducer switch, attach the negative battery cable, remove the refrigerant from the system and charge the refrigerant after removal.
