For the back middle seat of a sedan, take out the seat cushion, the support nut for the rear seat belt, the rear shelf trim cover and the nut for the center retractor. To work on the wagon, open the boot and remove the left side trim panel on the seat back, disconnect the rear seat belt latch cable from its seat frame and undo the bolt at the rear center seat belt retractor.
